As a designer, there are so many things that inspire me: My past lives as a farmer and biologist, my family of creatives, my search for balance and simplicity. Simplicity in my design work is also a reflection of how I live my life. I try to be mindful of my consumption of products and resources. I spend a lot of time outside getting inspiration from my surroundings. I love to travel and see new things. When it comes to photography, which is my second love, I‘m drawn to its main function of documentation. I‘m constantly seeing things or moments that I need to capture because life, truly, is fleeting and everything has a story to tell.

About a year ago I packed up everything (including my dog) and moved across the country to Seattle. I absolutely love it here. Coming from NH, it is a big change but I have definitely fallen in love with the food, proximity to nature and the design community. I was lucky enough to quickly find work as a designer for Loreal USA @ Clarisonic. While at Clarisonic I climbed the ladder from production designer to lead graphic designer. However, when a new opportunity came knocking at my door I was unable to refuse. I am currently the graphic designer and photographer for the travel and outdoor apparel company, ExOfficio. ExOfficio is such a great brand and was the perfect next step for me. I love that I spend my days encouraging people to travel and explore and who knows...maybe I will get a little travel out of it too. :)
